Hymns of the Pearl Volume 8
The Great Invisible Light
Front cover art: Angel 41 by Mar Sarah Stead. The Book of the Great Invisible Light speaks of the Light that is "the Source of All,.. the name of which is ineffable... It is the Ultimate Silence, the Silence of Light." The Invisible Light is made manifest to us through Sophia, Christ, and their angels. Through vibrant line and expressive color, Sarah affirms that the angels emanate "from the Silence in perfect Sound... They name that which cannot be named. They bring to the mortal plane that which is transcendent. Their vibrations fills with power. Meditating on their sound brings gnosis. Vibrating with them brings Eternal Lives." This reflection by Coram Bryant.
The music of volume eight invites you to lift up your heart and worship the Divine Father and Mother within you, and nurture your openness to the Great Invisible Light.

Divine Father
Divine Father, dwelling in Light, in the High and Holy Place,
When will I regain your Presence and, again, behold your face?
In your holy habitation, did my spirit once reside.
In my first, primeval childhood was I nurtured near your side.
Was I nurtured near your side.
For a wise and glorious purpose you have placed me here on earth.
And withheld the recollection of my former friends and birth.
Yet often, a secret something whispered, “You’re a stranger here.”
And I felt sure that I had wandered from a more exalted sphere.
From a more exalted sphere.
I had learned to call you “Father” through your Spirit from above,
But until the Key of Gnosis was restored, I knew not why.
In the heavens, are Parents single? No, the thought makes reason stare!
Truth is reason, Truth eternal tells me I’ve a Mother there.
I’ve a Mother there!
When I leave this frail existence, when I lay this mortal by,
Father, Mother, may I meet you in your royal courts on high?
Then, at length, when I’ve completed all you sent me here to do,
With your mutual approbation, let me come and dwell with you.
Let me come and dwell with you!
Divine Father!
